Consulates in New York City

All the foreign embassies are, of course, in Washington DC, which is only a few hours away by train out of Penn Station, but New York City is home to over 100 consulates so citizens of nearly every country that has frequent travelers can get many citizen services handled in the Big Apple.

All the consulates are in Manhattan, mostly in Midtown, and most of them not far from the giant United Nations complex on the Hudson River in the eastern section of Midtown.
