Who would have thought that there would be so many options for traveling between DC and New York? When my husband and I traveled there this past summer, we originally thought that flying would be our only option. We spent a little extra on our hotel because we figured this would probably be our only trip to the Big Apple and we wanted to do it right; however, we wanted to try and save a little on the commute between the cities. We ended up taking a bus and although it probably took a little longer than flying it was totally worth it. No waiting in lines or dealing with airport security, plus they had free wi-fi and we got to see parts of the country we wouldn't have seen otherwise. It was definitely worth it.
