<description>My son attends college in Boston and was accepted into a summer program at London School of Economics for this upcoming June-August of 2009. He has dual citizenships of U.S. and Sweden, and holds dual passports as well.
My question is: can he enter the U.K. with his Swedish passport or does he have to use his American passport and apply for a visa?
He is registered at his college as an american citizen, since he resides in this country. I have consulted the Swedish embassy in New York and their answer was that he can enter with his Swedish passport regardless wether he is a full time resident of Sweden or not.
I just want to make sure that he does not run into a problem since I realize rules and regulations change often.
What is your answer and advice in regards to this matter?
Thank you so much your response is greatly appreciated.

Best regards,
